Candle Care & Safety
To get the most out of your candle — and to enjoy them safely — please follow these care guidelines:
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn to ensure a clean, even flame and reduce soot.
- Allow the wax to melt edge-to-edge on the first burn (usually 3–4 hours) to prevent tunneling.
- Burn candles for no more than 4 hours at a time to preserve fragrance quality and vessel integrity.
- Always place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface—never directly on furniture.
- Keep candles away from drafts, fans, and air vents to ensure an even burn and prevent flickering.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children and pets.
- Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating or damage to surfaces.
- Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain wax and fragrance quality.
